Publisher Description
This is not a self-help book. It’s a wake-up call!
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.
The stories and lessons in this raw, revealing, unflinching memoir offer the listener a blueprint they can use to climb from the bottom of the barrel into a whole new stratosphere that once seemed unattainable. Whether you feel off-course in life, are looking to maximize your potential or drain your soul to break through your so-called glass ceiling, this is the only book you will ever need.
An annotated edition of Never Finished, offering over three hours of bonus content featuring deeper insights and never-before-told stories shared by David. Not available in other formats.

The dark cave - the hurt locker - comfortable being uncomfortable
I loved the book.
The chapter on the endurance racing was the premiere chapter for me. Goggins understands and articulates about the hurt locker in ways that I have only recently discovered. In a recent cycling event, I stayed in that alone dark place for 90 min. It is a very dark and lonely place. With three voices, the one who tempts you, the one who encourages you and the one who is your own. When I listened to this book, I recognized that in David. It’s like he was there beside me listening to the “discourse”. And the temptation to quit is immense. But to not quit…is the triumph. And it makes all the difference.
I didn’t know much about this place until a year an a half ago in a race that required me to go there. For the first time.
I’ve been there many time since. And am getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.
It was a deep encouragement to know that David is at home in this place. And it is an encouragement to know that one can do the same. If he can, I can.
This pain place is also where we can go emotionally. Having been there often enough, one recognizes it emotionally too. And you can be comfortable with being uncomfortable. This is a very new thing for me. It has been such a blessing to know that someone like David can describe it in such detail that we can know that we are not alone!
This is uncommon amongst the uncommon
This is what is means to be badass!
Wow
The book is amazing. If you want to improve yourself and change your lazy mindset, you must read that book.
Can’t find the words…….
Audible book is the way to go with his books. David adds additional conversations (podcast) that if you can relate, will bring you to tears. David’s mom talks about her past which made me realize the doors I had closed so many years ago and today, was my reality check and things need to change.Thank you David for all your help.
