A desperate woman steals from a dangerous man. Thugs, gallery owners, the cops, the underworld, a secret, stolen art, the dominatrix and Johnny. The dominatrix Gabriella steals two paintings from a Montreal mob boss and heads for the west coast where she meets club jazzer Johnny who quickly discovers her problematic past. When her ex Francesco comes to seek revenge, the mob boss sends the assassin Rhino to clean up the mess and retrieve the secret document hidden in one of the paintings.
