Kane and Jana!
Kane is the veteran goalie for the Florida Fury who knows that his career is coming to an end whether he is ready for it or not.
An unexpected offer to become the head coach may just be the opportunity he was looking for but that also means working with Jana who he has been having a secret fling with and just happens to be the owner's daughter as well.
Jana is the only child so even though she knows her father would have preferred to have a son take over she has spent her life proving that she is capable. She expected that to happen sometime in the future and not the night that her father announced Kane as the head coach. Now that they are working together she knows that their fling must come to an end but that is easier said than done.
I enjoyed seeing Jana and Kane transition from a fling to friends to a relationship which allowed them to truly get to know each other and build a strong foundation which they will need when the future they are planning is challenged. I listened to the audio copy and thought the narrators brought out the humor and emotion of the story as well as the personalities of the characters.
Amazing last book in the series!
This is the sixth and last book in the Hockey Hotties series, a Sports Romance. I love this series. Kane and Jana's story is funny and sexy. They share a sizzling push and pull relationship. The supporting characters are great. I loved the Epilogue! This is a sweet conclusion to this amazing series. And now I am looking forward to listening to You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows, the first book in the Kinsgmen Football Stars. Joe Arden and Melissa Moran did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

Once Kane and Jana take over their new roles as coach and owner of the Florida Fury, Jana breaks off her secret relationship with Kane. As they start spending more time together in a platonic way, they both realize that there is more between them than just "fun times".
I have been waiting for Kane and Jana's story for a while. I enjoyed the push, pull and tension between Kane and Jana, the banter between the teammates, and the overall camaraderie of all the characters. A good ending to the Hockey Hotties series.
Joe Arden and Melissa Moran did a good job of bringing life to the characters and the story.
