FROM #1 INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR SYLVIA DAY

The final chapter in the global blockbuster Crossfire quintet

Gideon Cross. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I've ever done. It happened instantly. Completely. Irrevocably.

Marrying him was a dream come true. Staying married to him is the fight of my life. Love transforms. Ours is both a refuge from the storm and the most violent of tempests. Two damaged souls entwined as one.

We have bared our deepest, ugliest secrets to one another. Gideon is the mirror that reflects all my flaws...and all the beauty I couldn't see. He has given me everything. Now, I must prove I can be the rock, the shelter for him that he is for me. Together, we could stand against those who work so viciously to come between us.

But our greatest battle may lie within the very vows that give us strength. Committing to love was only the beginning. Fighting for it will either set us free...or break us apart.

Heartbreakingly and seductively poignant, One with You is the breathlessly awaited finale to the Crossfire saga, the searing love story that has captivated millions of readers and listeners worldwide.

Mixed Up With You?

Where does one begin with this review? Perhaps, I should begin with the narration, which was, as ever very good. I enjoyed the contrast between Gideon's point of view and Eva's. My compliments to the narrators who did wonders with, quite frankly, mundane material.

It is my belief that Sylvia Day, lost the plot after book 3, and had no choice but to drag this tale out over 5 books. That is her prerogative as the author, but it provides little or nothing to readers/listeners.

When this book is regarded as the last in the series, it is unwise to start introducing new characters and new plot twists which really do not add much to the story. Indeed, much of the plot lines to this book were vastly confusing and the narrative was mere padding out the chapters, if truth be told. The Crossfire stories began so well. Excellently crafted characters and the plot bold but the tale could have been told in three books, as far as I am concerned. The epilogue was dreadful. Endings are not something Ms. Day is proficient in crafting.

I enjoyed the narration but I have to say I was disappointed with this book and, actually, I could have not bought this book and finished with book 4. It would not have made any difference to the conclusion of the Gideon and Eva's story.
If this was a school report, it would read "much more effort, Sylvia!"

Sigh! Just okay

Narration- Ava- too breathy and annoying, there were times I had to fast forward because her voice became to annoying.

Plot, too repetitive, we get it!!!! He's gorgeous, no need to describe him ever 5 seconds.

Overall, the book was a drag, no substance
