Okay, but not Koontz's best

The beginning mystery is very interesting and really starts to build. But when you find the answer, it suddenly slows down and becomes almost ridiculous with some of the ways the 'killer' does. Then it ends strongly. So it was like a reverse sandwich of plot, a good listen but not one for the ages
