Sweet but Silly
This is a well-written, clean book. The writing can’t be faulted. How it could be considered a ‘Christian’ book, however, is doubtful. They marry as a business arrangement, then have intimate relations while thinking of themselves as not married. And how she could string him along not committing and that she would think he would weakly agree to her terms is baffling. And live bound up in such fear that the men are scared to ask women out to the point the women have to. Very repetitious, frustrating and poor examples given the number of times characters knew the right thing to do but did not do it. All’s well that ends well. Eventually they both confronted their fears and fought for each other for a HEA.
