APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
This might just be the ultimate collaboration. Thriller master James Patterson and all-around goddess Dolly Parton team up for a suspenseful drama set in the Nashville music scene. The story follows AnnieLee, who’s just arrived in town with big dreams, a big voice, and bigger problems. A full cast of narrators draw you into the singer’s tale, as she’s befriended by a session musician who connects her with country legend Ruthanna Ryder—whose part is read by Parton herself! The co-authors really get you wrapped up in their characters’ journeys, and Parton also gives us an honest, inside look at the music industry. Run, Rose, Run is an exciting and dark snapshot of Music City stardom that’s just as glitzy and fun as you would expect.

Not great
Love Dolly Parton but not a good narrator nor a great writer. A bit boring and repetitive and I do not believe James Patterson wrote even one word of this. Disappointing.
