This captivating prequel proves that even the most nefarious villain is still the hero of their own story—and may not have always been so terrible. Actor Santino Fontana (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) is a lively narrator, giving vibrancy to each character and subtly capturing the young Snow’s wounded pride and potential. This breathtaking adventure left us just as exhilarated as the other books in the Hunger Games series, and just as hungry for more.

Defined recommend
Brings an interesting light down on Mr Snow and how his life of ‘evil’ came to be. Very interesting to see how the game’s began and were formed into what they became in the hunger games. Definitely changed my perspective on him as a man and made me further understand his resentment towards Katniss Everdine. This book was a page turner for the most part. Slowed down at the end but still worth the read.
