More about famous science personalities than dinosaurs

A better title may have been « the famous scientists who study the dinosaurs » - the author focuses on the personalities (including quite often himself) of important people studying in the field, without especially interrogating why that’s his focus in a book ostensibly about their studies. It’s fine - I realize many people want that from pop science books, but it’s so overwhelming in the narrative he’d have been better off titling the book more honestly. If you’re looking for more straight science narrative that doesn’t focus so much on the humans of the pst couple hundred years, look elsewhere.
