APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Whether you’re seeking nirvana or a simple escape from negative thoughts, author and spiritual teacher Michael A. Singer is here to help. Narrated by the friendly voice of Peter Berkrot, this soothing audiobook explains how we develop patterns of distracting thoughts, emotions, and negative energies—and how we can free ourselves from them by developing our own self-awareness. From insightful passages (such as one that compares our daily thoughts to an annoying roommate who talks nonstop) to grounding contemplations on death, pain, and the seemingly elusive path to unconditional happiness, this is a smart guide to raising your consciousness. It’s perfect for both seasoned meditation practitioners and total beginners. Just get comfortable, close your eyes, press play on The Untethered Soul, and start the journey within.
I like the content but find it difficult to listen to the narration. The voice is irritating.
It’s funny how the people who comment that they are annoyed by the narrator are the ones who should really give this book a chance!
Was recommended this book and look forward to reading it I guess. Glad I listened to the preview before I bought it. I have heard this narrators voice before and I really am not a fan. Would have bought the audiobook for sure if it was not for his voice
