Where Rivers Meet

 Where Rivers Meet

Some secrets refuse to stay buried. Some loves are destined to cross time.

When grief-stricken artist Abigail Lloyd returns to the Welsh village where she spent the happiest years of her childhood, she hopes the mountains, rivers, and memories of her beloved Nan will help her find a way forward.

Instead, she discovers an old suitcase filled with secrets that threaten everything she thought she knew about her past.

And then there is the man in her drawings.

A man she has never met.

A man who appears in her memories —always watching, always just out of reach.

Across the river of time, Cain lives a brutal existence in the nineteenth-century copper mines, where hunger, poverty and sudden death are an everyday reality. Yet through a mysterious dark passage that allows him fleeting glimpses of another age, he has seen Abigail.

He has watched her grow.

He has fallen hopelessly in love with her.

But Abigail belongs to a world of safety, opportunity and a future Cain can never offer. To bring her into his world would be to condemn her to a life of hardship and danger. Loving her means keeping his distance, even as every glimpse of her makes that distance unbearable.

But their lives are already bound together by a secret neither of them understands.

As Abigail begins to uncover the truth, the boundary between her world and Cain's begins to fracture. Drawn towards a man who should not exist, she must confront a terrifying question:

What if the love she has been searching for all her life has been waiting for her across time?

Set against the haunting beauty of the Welsh mountains and the unforgiving world of the nineteenth-century copper mines, Where Rivers Meet is a passionate supernatural historical romance of love, loss, destiny and a bond that time itself cannot break.
