A lot of characters to keep track of
Perhaps too many. Many storylines, some of which were extraneous to the central story, made juggling all those characters challenging. As with so many of Briggs' books, I’m sure that all these tangled subplots and the snowstorm of characters will find resolution at some point… hopefully. *Strongly* recommend rereading “Soul Taken” before starting this book.
