Jessica and Dave!
Jessica would never have imagined how a lie to bring her grandmother peace when she was expected to pass away would come back and bite her. She is very happy that her grandmother make a full recovery but now she either needs to bring her “soulmate” to a family wedding or come clean about her lie.
Dave is one of her boss’s clients and since he is an actor he seems like the perfect choice to be her pretend boyfriend and he can multitask by working on his acting skills as well but first she needs to convince him. They work out an arrangement where they will escort each other to an event that they must attend which is the solution to both their problems. What could possibly go wrong?
Dave and Jessica are perfect together as their chemistry is hot, their banter humorous and they just fit. Jessica is the perfect mix of sass and sensitive while Dave is everything you could ask for in a boyfriend and more. Once I finished the book my only thought was that I had been missing out on not reading anything by this author earlier.
