1st Steps for Beginning Guitarists
I cant say enough good things about this Course. After spending decades putting my best efforts into learning guitar, I felt that there were so many things missing from becoming a "Real Player." Even tho I had studied privately with numerous accomplished musicians and I have a bookcase full of songbooks, theory books etc I never really felt I understood transitioning from chord to chord or strum techniques that made any sense to me once I started to play. Well, that all changd with the purchase of "1st Steps for a Beginning Guitarist." There are fundementals presented here in a manner I have not seen elsewhere.
Let me say that not only is Bruce an accomplished player but he is also an accomplished educator. The icing on the tutorial cake is that he has been playing forever. Add that to his accessability via e-mail, and you have a recipe for success!
Im not going to go into all the details of what the book offers and how Bruce presents the material. That will be amply covered once you get started. Do yourself a favor tho and get the book, practise like there is no tomorrow and you will see that it will all start to come together. I know because it's working for me! I dont study with anyone else nor would I at this point. This book is your introductory level to making you a GREAT player, not some strumming shmuck who does not know the where or why of what they are doing! So jump on and enjoy the ride. You will be in great hands and even greater company!
