The book A Blessing of Alzheimers bloomed in my thoughts while I cared for my Mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in 2007. The story delves into the mystery of Moms earlier life trying to understand why the feared disease targeted her. It wasnt until after Mothers death in 2010 when I discovered her hand written journals telling of her secret life filled with terrifying delusion and fear that only her husband knew of. The path she eventually took coxed her right off the edge of reality and into the waiting grasp of Alzheimers. I ultimately realized that Alzheimers had
