A Convenient Accident

A tragic accident on a back country road in New South Wales in 1975 leaves one young woman dead and another with severe head injuries.

When Libby Miller regains consciousness in hospital she remembers little of her life before the accident. After weeks of treatment she returns to Sydney with her husband to discover he has plans that don't include her. She manages to escape to England and settles into a new life surrounded by her English family.

Twenty-five years later the remains of a young woman are found in a disused mine. Detective Inspector Frank Bailey and his team investigate, but make little progress. When another woman dies Bailey decides he needs to track down Libby in England where he hopes she will be able to help him solve the mystery of the deaths. What he uncovers is a web of shocking lies.
