A Desire for the Dead

When the end of the world came, Emily was sat in a log cabin far away from civilisation. Upon returning to her home she discovered that an escaped virus had eradicated the population, leaving them as nothing more than mindless zombies. For months she hid in her remote cabin, refusing to believe that she was the sole survivor. Finally forced to return to the city, she sought refuge in an abandoned home, barricading it against the zombies that roamed the streets, hungry for her flesh.

Caught by a raging zombie while out foraging for supplies, Emily finds herself cornered and unable to escape. Fighting for her life, she is amazed to find that the zombie responds to her commands and becomes her willing slave. Not understanding how or why she acquired this power over the undead, she soon discovers that the undead still have very human desires and that eating her flesh is not the only thing they lust for. Deciding to explore her powers, Emily strikes out into the post-apocalyptic wasteland, determined to rule them all, to become the Queen of the Undead.
