The George Christian Burgess Story

Publisher Description

By the late 1890's England was a horrible place for the poor, and even worse for women. Living conditions were appalling for anyone lower than the middle class. Women were completely controlled by the men in their lives, and had a very low social standing.

Agnes Burgess gave birth to George Christian Burgess in London, England on February 28, 1898. After giving birth, Agnes' living conditions became even worse.
