The stubborner they are, the harder they fall. It was very entertaining watching Ian, who did not need any wench and thus spurned her find that he did after all need a bride...and of course, then Lynet wants nothing to do with him. To add to the situation, others did want her and he finds her missing every time he turns around.
Life in the 12th century is not easy and protection your possessions, both property and people who look to you, is not an easy task. The wonderful characters plunge you into castle life of great castle halls, tourneys and living in the wilds of the Scottish highlands. Trials and tears abound before happiness is found. Well done Sherry. Can’t wait for the next one.
