A Man, A Mountain and God

At a young age, Rev. Bill Barton knew he was called to preach. The problem was that he was born with a disfigured mouth. No one could understand him. Growing up, even at seminary, he was told numerous times that he would never be a pastor.


Bill had many reasons to give up and give in, but he chose to celebrate the mountains of life because he knew he would always find God at the top.


Not only did Bill go on to pastor over 30 churches, he established one of the most successful addiction recovery programs in the nation. Founded in 1965, the Home of Grace now celebrates 50 Years of Miracles and remembers the legend behind the ministry, the late Rev. Bill Barton.
