At the Grand Hotel Kronenhof, the splendor of another era still seems alive. Crystal chandeliers glow above gilded walls, musicians rehearse for the grand evening ahead, and throughout the hotel there is talk of a new waltz.



Into this glittering world arrives Clara Morgenstern, carrying an old leather portfolio filled with yellowed sheets of music.



Years later, it was published under the name of the celebrated Viennese composer Viktor Falkenhayn.



Clara has come to Vienna for one reason: to discover what really happened.



At the Kronenhof she meets Felix Winterberg, a young composer and arranger who has spent years working in Falkenhayn's shadow. Felix has talent, imagination, and the rare ability to turn a handful of notes into something that can move an entire room. Yet too often, the music he creates does not carry his own name.
