A Mink's Tale

The farm is all young mink Malinka has ever known. She's just given birth to a litter of perfect kits when a stranger comes to the barn. He's old and rough and says things that make the well-tended minks scoff. But, when Malinka hears that they will take away her kits, she begins to believe the old mink is not making things up. Life on the farm is not what it seems; what she's lulled herself into believing.

And when all seems lost and she has the opportunity for freedom, will she take it? And if she does, will freedom be worth the cost?
