To a people is culture as to tortoise is its shell. To man is religion as to breath is life. Both culture and religion aim at moulding righteousness in the heart of man; for righteousness in the heart of man exalts a nation. What happens in a society is a direct reflection of the contents of the heart of men: for if there's righteousness in the heart of the individual, there will be nobility of character, if there's nobility of character, there will be happiness for the home, if there's happiness for the home, there will be order in the nation, if there's order in the nation, there will peace in the world...CONFUCIUS. It's therefore, unto the family and religious leaders, a duty to instil in the progeny the virtues and values which culture and religion teach. When the family reneges on its role and cultural values are thrown overboard, the society is rotten, and religion fails for reason of doctrinal bigotry, humanity is endangered. Sadly it is the case in our hands today....Atah, morally brought up lad, holds on fervently to the doctrines of his new found religion and loathes everything culture. He also hates the anyone else who does not practice his own faith...Consequently, he gives his own life in a pathetic manner for the faith he professes...
