Publisher Description

This is a short story about a short trip I took into the Canadian prairies of Alberta and Saskatchewan.  I considered it an exploratory trip and I plan some more extensive touring of places that appealed to me.  Although I was looking forward to seeing the Great Sand Hills and Grasslands National Park, the setting of the prairies was emotionally good for me.  As a lad who spent some early years living on the prairie back in the late 40’s, I realised some forgotten connections to the countryside and to all the flora and fauna that exists there.

I am a fine art photographer and from time to time tried to focus on my art work; however, I became so caught up in the feelings I had and the memories that were stirred in me, that I’m not sure I was able to make any special images.  Nevertheless, this story is filled with images of my trip on these beautiful prairies that we have in Canada.
