A Remarkable Year

I put my pen down, Nick’s story had moved me to tears and his relating of it had been eloquent and heartfelt. I could almost taste the heat, hear the sound of children’s voices, raised like larks, and see the red Ugandan dust beneath their feet. 


What a truly remarkable man, he had opened my eyes to a whole new world, introduced me to a part of myself that I hadn’t known existed and had captured my heart.


Now I want the world to know his story and I so hope that my telling of it will do him justice.
