A Severed Head
Iris Murdoch has woven a tale that is unlike any other I have ever read. Her description of scenes keeps you totally engrossed and engaged in the story. Told from Martin’s perspective she has arranged an often funny story with twists galore. It is amazing who ends up with whom-much like musical chairs, it does not unwind til the final page.
