About the Author:
Donna Smith is an award winning children’s author who lives in Melbourne with her husband and their three children. Donna has had many children’s stories and poems published in various anthologies and journals. The author of Delightfully Haiku – a collection of English written traditional Japanese poetry (published in 2010) is very popular with middle primary students and as a cherished gift for someone special. Donna teaches a class on the ‘History of Writing’ and ‘Poetry’ which she enjoys. By day, Donna has written over 40 Academic titles for the Adult Education sector and is studying hard to complete her Arts degree in 2011. Donna loves watercolour painting and mosaics.
