Albert Frederick Pollard (16 December 1869 - 3 August 1948) was a British historian who wrote extensively about England’s Tudor period, and The Evolution of Parliament, which he published in 1920, is still widely considered one of the best histories of the country’s Parliament. Around that same time, he also wrote a short history about World War I in the years immediately after what to that point had been history’s deadliest conflict.
