A Texas Soldier's Family
**3.5 stars**
Garrett Lockhart was just finishing his last tour of duty when there was a family crisis and he was called home immediately. The Lockhart Foundation had promised donations to several charities but they were never received. Even though the cheques had been written the charities didn't get them. The money was not in the bank either. Where was it? Who took it? Hope Winslow is a crisis manager who was hired to represent the family and foundation to show them in a favorable light. Not only does Hope have a demanding career but her nanny was just called away so Hope has to bring her 3 month old son, Max, with her everywhere until she can find a new nanny. She sure has her hands full with the baby, Garrett not approving of her job and working a positive spin on why the charities didn't get the donations.
This is a sweet romance with great characters. There didn't seem to be anything Hope couldn't do. You've got to love such a capable woman. Garrett had a situation in the past that left him disliking all business women, especially when he felt they were twisting the truth. So right from the start, he didn't like Hope. But they couldn't fight their attraction for each other.
If you like romantic suspense you will like this story.
