Publisher Description
A Thief No More is a poem I wrote about a thief who discovers how not to be a thief.
Each stanza is 8 lines. I was enamored of the syllable count (10 syllables followed by 8 syllables) and the meter (the 10 syllable lines are -*--*-*--* and the 8 syllable are -*--*--* where the asterisk is the emphasized syllable) and the rhyme scheme (each 10 syllable line rhymes, each 8 syllable line rhymes) with the exception of the 7th line of each stanza which has its own internal rhyme not related to the other lines of the stanza. Ok, yes, it is a bit long (32 stanzas).
The structure of this poem provides for 4 chapters.
