A Touch of Dark

This is the first book in the Painted Sin Series. Wow! This story is beautifully dark, twisted, and captivating! I love all about it! Juliana and Damien are great characters. Damien is powerful, dark, and intriguing. Juliana is beautiful, intriguing, and broken. Her past is heartbreaking. The secondary characters are intriguing, and they take an important part in this story. The storyline is really well written, breathtaking, and filled with mystery, secret, and intrigue. Impossible to put it down. I like these stories when you have conflicted feelings: You want to know what happened, but you're afraid of. Well Done! The chemistry, and the slow burn between Julianna and Damien is nothing like what I have read before. This is exactly the kind of story you want to read again just after finishing it. I truly loved it, and I can't wait for the audiobook version of it. If you like dark romance, this one is for you, you have to believe me. I highly recommend it. Now, I can't wait for the next book in the Series, A Taste Like Sin. I need to know what will happen next. I want to know more about all the characters, even the bad ones!

After Crossed Lines, I was wondering how interesting would be Lana Sky's next book and how could she top one book to the next. She does not disappoint, bringing in her masterpiece all the time. Her from memory style of writing give us a snippets of clues to reveal each characters profile and help us to do the analysis ourselves to come up with our own prediction of how the story will wrap up, or not. She always have this two roads that develops and make us wonder. I love the delivery of the story in such a way that you will not realize that the book has ended, and I want more! What makes it more interesting is how she can make a simple person becomes the center of the universe and a man almost equally as powerful as her lady counterpart.

I cannot wait for the next one, if I can give 10 stars I would!
