Mark Twain is an American writer, journalist and social activist. His work covers a variety of genres – humor, satire, philosophical fiction, journalism and others, and in all these genres, he has consistently taken the position of humanist and democrat. 


'A Tramp Abroad' is an example of travel literature which combines the elements of autobiography and fiction literature that was written by Mark Twain that was initially published in 1980. The main character of the book is Mark Twain himself who sets off traveling across Europe together with his friend Harris.
