After the Burn...Glow
Reviewing the duo together. Rock and Hope’s story is one that unravels alot of the relationships going forward. Burn was slow for me and not sure why but they felt alot older than actually are...I went ahead with After Glow because the series is gripping for most of the characters. Teller is the son Rock never knew he had. Lilly makes an appearance at the end going forward into Zero trio which is exciting. I loved Rock’s possessive Prez side and how amazingly Autumn weaves the story between their personal and club lives. Alot of stories are unravelling in this connector duo. Sex not so hot. And Hope while I think she is good for Rock never did it for me...I also have to say that it does not help when the cover of the book resembles nothing about the story. Hope is not skinny and Rock is not that young...it happened before with another series and it means so much more if you can see then read about the people on the cover as the story develops. I don’t want the same model on 6 covers. It’s a small thing but its worth the mention. Create the whole picture for us so we can attach to the characters. Having said that...every single brother is riveting and we learn alot about Rock which is a great journey. Just not one of my favs.
Autumn has done it again
Autumn has kept us waiting for the conclusion of this duo and boy was it a whooper. I didn’t except the out come and was blown away with it. This story will have to laughing, crying and feeling a sense of aww! Autumn has really become one with her characters and understands them and knows how to write them. She leaves you wanting no craving more of her Lost King’s world!
