Action packed from start to finish
We are taken on a whirlwind tour of a half dozen countries as the chase is on to catch the man who is carrying out attacks against Max’s father. It seems bad guys are popping up everywhere! I’m really enjoying the mystery, wondering who is really behind all this and why. Despite all the action, the author manages to weave in bits of life in these countries that is different than ours— the food, vehicles I’ve never heard of, a local custom. A British intelligence agent who likes to do things she’s not supposed to keeps appearing and I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of this new character in future books. Max once again makes a couple bad decisions. Can his father fix the mess or is Max in real trouble this time? Things are about to change and I can’t wait to find out how.
