Ah Fu’s Diary 2022 Winter

Ah Fu’s Diary Winter 2022 is a continued story of AH FU’s DIARY 2022. It is also called INNER CHAPTER, exploring my artistic works from an inner point of view. Focusing on recent works done in Hong Kong since the summer 2018 , an overall picture has been painted explaining how I struggle between ART and LIFE, ART & IDENTITIES.
Apart from recent works on Hong Kong films/childhood memories/ impactful images, Eastern and Western Madonna images, glimpses of earlier works since my student days in Canada, Scotland, and Italy are present. I wrote this Diary in Chinese Calligraphy in colour before rewriting it in English myself. The Chinese version is seen as an inner voice which comes out naturally, and therefore has not been re-edited. It is an homage to my Professor J. Cummings who pointed the way ( in 1982 ) for my life long research on Chinese Calligraphy, western tradition of colour and poetry. Thank you to all. Happy 2023 from Bernadette
