Air Raids

This book was published in order to provide civil defence advise to the population and prepare them for the coming attacks during the second world war. It includes advise on air raids, incendiary bombs, war gas and first aid.


Its importance is emphasised by the Minister of Home Security, Sir John Anderson, when he says "You too, will have betrayed your trust if you neglect to take the steps which it is your responsibility to take for the protection of yourself and your family. This is a contribution to the winning of final victory which you personally can make and which no one else can make for you. I am confident that you will make it."
