Recent news reports highlight the fact that a higher percentage of young adults (the “Millennials”) are choosing to live at home with their parents. When my family was making a transition to a new home about 14 years ago, and most of my six children were transitioning to college or careers, I wanted to reclaim some order for our new home. I wrote the Alice Haddow’s House for Grownups: The Rules.
For the most part, it worked. When circumstances required our children, and some wonderful grandchildren to live with us, the AHHG Rules set boundaries and expectations. Our shared living experiences were joyous, and I hope my book will help parents set the rules and have a similar positive experience.
