Almost Completely True Facts About Giraffes

This hysterical nonfiction picture book is filled with completely true facts about giraffes—and some made-up ones! See if you can tell the difference between fact and fiction when it comes to our favorite long-necked animal.

Giraffes are ridiculous animals. From their absurdly long necks to their spindly legs, giraffes are among the most weirdly shaped creatures alive. Yet, from our earliest days, we become utterly accustomed to their preposterousness. By blurring the lines between truth and ridiculousness, this nonfiction picture book makes the overly familiar giraffe weird again.

Paired with silly illustrations and dialogue are very real facts, as well as some information that might not be true. Can you guess what's fact and what's fiction? (Before the conclusion tells you which is which, of course!)

The Almost Completely True History of Giraffes turns natural history into fresh entertainment. This book is weird, which makes the science unforgettable. You'll never think about giraffes the same way again!
