Publisher Description
Read a letter to the editor in one of the dailies last week from a woman who'd had a tire on her parked car slashed by one or another of the vermin that increasingly roams the streets of Niagara Falls after dark. The tire cost her $200 to replace, she said, and made her question her own wisdom in moving back to her old hometown after years spent away. The letter touched my heart, in a large part because I could completely identify with her feelings. You see, just two weeks ago, a tire on the Hudson family jalopy was also flattened. And, like the poor woman, it cost us $200 to have a new one put on.
