Intense, suspenseful, real
I loved this book. It is slow and deep, with prose that Strout is most gifted at. Every sentence packs in it beautiful words so that you can see and feel the palpability of them. Th characters are rich and real, human and faulted. It is a good read, and so far my favourite of Strout books. Enjoy!
