An Image In Mirror

Set in both Uganda and South Africa, An Image in a Mirror is the story of Nyakale and Achen, identical twins ripped apart by their mother's decision to give one of them away to her sister in South Africa for a shot at a better life. Or was it because her sister could not have children? At the heart of this tale is a coming-of-age story of two young women growing up in two separate worlds that are as different as they are similar. When the sisters finally meet after twenty-two years, how mirrored will each feel by the other?
