Angels Among Us

In the quiet town of Mancelona, 11-year-old Lance Kingslien, a boy with cerebral palsy, dreams of strengthening his legs in his new swimming pool. But one fateful morning, Lance slips and plunges into the water, his body sinking as panic takes hold. Just as darkness closes in, a shimmering figure appears—Carlitos, the ghost of a 5-year-old boy who died tragically 20 years earlier. With a gentle touch, Carlitos pulls Lance to safety, his warm brown eyes filled with both sorrow and hope.  

Carlitos, a playful yet determined spirit, has spent years helping others in secret—saving lives, flickering lights, and turning on TVs—all while longing to reconnect with his grieving mother, Marie. With the help of Lance, Tyler (another boy Carlitos saved), and Sheriff Kyle Rosa, Carlitos embarks on a journey to prove his existence to Marie.  

At a heartfelt community memorial by Johnson's Pond, Carlitos's heroic deeds are celebrated, and Marie finally feels her son's presence, his hand brushing hers as the crowd cheers. A story of love, belief, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and son, *Carlitos: The Boy Who Never Left* is a hauntingly beautiful tale that reminds us that even in death, love endures.
