{APP}erture: Photography II Art

With the proliferation of technology in the 21st century and the 'app–revolution’ of the past few years,  I began to explore how my photographs could be manipulated using these apps in much the same manner that artists of the past used existing technological tools  to create new works.  As a result I have created a catalogue of pieces from portraits to nudes, still-lives to landscapes, skylines to cityscapes that mimic my favorite artistic styles of cubism, art deco, chiaroscuro, expressionism, and abstract illustration, among others. This is "Vol. One" which formed the {APP}erture: Photography II Art Exhibit at the Thornhill Gallery at Avila University in 2014.
