Good beginning
This was a good beginning to this series, you meet the main characters and learn how Ani becomes Blessed. I laughed when she first meets Nik. She really doesn’t like him because he appears to be arrogant and vain. She does start to like him toward the end. I enjoyed this read and how they solve the mystery. I would recommend this book.

Great start to series
This is a great start to the series and holds a lot of promise!! I honestly can’t wait to start book 2!! Ani gets blessed to start her work in the temple where she has always wanted to be and has her work cut out for her being the first ever female to be in that temple. Add in a mystery, the high priest’s son Nik and a royal visitor and it’s shaping out to be a great series!!.
