Customer Reviews
Great book, but this edition has a ton of typos and possibly (?) other typographical errors
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Faulkner’s masterpiece. However, I am only going to give it three stars because the edition I read had italics interspersed with unitalicized text in what seemed a haphazard fashion. I don’t know if these italics were intended or if they were simply (mistakenly?) added. They show up in the strangest of contexts, sometimes midsentence. Additionally, there were numerous typos, periods where there should not have been punctuation, and what seemed like mispelled words. Forgive me if this is a stylistic thing, but it was distracting, nonetheless. Only paid .99 for this edition. If it’s a matter of “you get what you pay for” do purchase this book at a higher price. It would be well worth it.
