Poetry is unique in its thought, style, and presentation. The selections in this small anthology of original poems, AS SIMPLE, SIMPLY SAID, are the first in a trilogy of compositions by Giovanni Maria Tommaso. They represent the thoughts, images, emotions, feelings and perspectives of a consciously lived spiritual, interior and existential life. Each particular subtle work is an expression of a certain perspective or view-point of delicateness which can go unnoticed or missed entirely in this hectic world of cheap, easy thrills and desires. We all live through these moments, we all have a perspective about them; not all can express them.
