Assaultmistress Kidahin

Kidahin leads Assault Team-Two Huntresses Jassalin, Aplilin, Merkrida, Hollfara, Tialdrin, Kyralin, Alfara, Seliaha, and Einstika on their first solo mission. Joining them and consenting to Kidahin's leadership is Warrior female surgeon-in-battle Mimiran.

Mimiran holds the supervisory social rank of Mistress and has higher military, hierarchical, and social rank than all Team-Two Hunter females combined. Indeed, she is Hunter's Moon's Mistress of Inner Strength, the senior mental health specialist.

Doubts are singing to Kidahin from various branches lately. Assaultmistress duties keep her far from warleader Delwyn. The female-dominant Eyloni say that males needed minders, for their own good, and this mission takes her even farther from him.

The shipwrecked coalition of Earth Colonies destroyer Londiwe Khoza is caught in a hyperspace anomaly that is causing space itself to fray and endanger Hunter's Moon with something Delwyn calls mobius fracturing.

The Khoza's many male casualties, a disaster to the male-rare Eyloni, feed into Kidahin's doubts. Those doubts grow as she suffers losses while en route to a barely habitable world, its human castaways, and a betrayer she thought long dead.
