Grayson is a friendly guy, a soldier at heart. There is a number of different things he likes. Piercings, tattoos, his best friend Malachi, and now the color indigo. No, that's a lie, he loves the color indigo and the woman who carries that color.
Elapidea was trapped. The first of her race in millennia for this to happen to. Fortunately, when she is finally liberated from her containment it is to someone she only ever heard about. A man covered in metal.
Grayson carries her out of hell and decides to keep her for his own, taking her out to the Ranch with him. 
It doesn't take long for Ela to fall for the open, friendly soldier. 
Their life is good at the Ranch, filled with family and friends. Everything seems, well, perfect.
But this is the Rocky Mountain Base and life is never so easy as that.
