Attitudes and Opinions Regarding the Romanian Migration (Provocari Contemporane‪)‬

Introduction Currently, we are witnessing a differentiated dynamic of demographic and economic phenomena. In developed countries there is a high population decline and in the poor countries there is population growth. Economic systems of the two categories of communities are facing opposite directions: in the developed countries the economy is properly functioning, the standard of living is high and the pace of development provides a range of opportunities for local people but also for those living in poor societies. The economy of poor countries lacks the capacity to absorb the entire workforce, particularly rural, youth and women. These differences, which there are diametrically in opposite extremes in the two categories of communities, are the main driver of migration. Inside communities such differences are found in a different way that boosts the trend of migration.
