If it's not "bad" then what the point!! There is just something woven into every book that Nicole writes that makes you smile, laugh, scream and wish you were the actual woman in the book!!! Can I be Savannah?? The football jock, Stone well he is human after all and this is a great read. It has an undercurrent of her father using her to get Stone to resign his contract but then as she falls for the addictive quarterback with off the chart bedroom skills and a smoldering personality to match...her dad sees the light and the story flips. Stone is just yummy and he cannot resist the sass of Savannah. Again 5 stars, hot panty melting-sex as always delivered wrapped in a great story!! Nicole's versatility is well proven but no one writes this sexy-panty genre like she does. 👑
Loved it
This book was really good. I was entertained from beginning to end, each chapter drew me in more & more as I enjoyed the banter & steam between Savannah & Jason. The sizzle between them from the moment they met was scorching. The fact that both were non-relationship people just made it that much more interesting. I have one favourite scene from the beginning of the book, where Allison(Savannah’s best friend) does a running commentary of an unheard conversation at the bar between Jason Stone & an overly amorous female. I laughed so hard during that scene I was crying....well done. I also enjoyed the play by play & knowledge that Nicole Edwards has for football. This book was well written as like her other books. I definitely will be looking for more in this series.

Jason Stone has just signed on to be the QB of his hometown NFL team. He already has 3 Super Bowl rings and is hoping to get his 4th this year ... and then he can retire. He doesn’t need any distractions ... that is until he has an amazing night with the nameless beauty from the club. Savannah knows who Stone is from the beginning as her dad owns the NFL team that Stone just signed with, but Stone has no idea who she is until he gets introduced to her at a team party. The chemistry between them is off the charts and they begin a secret affair.
Even though Stone is supposed to be the “bad Boy of football” ... he is far from it and I couldn’t help falling for him. And Savannah is so cute ... I loved the banter between her and her best friend - she is hilarious. And this book is steamy, steamy, steamy! I recommend this book for a feel-good romance!
